Some flower beds just outlive their purpose. What started as a planted bed along a retaining wall had turned into a wall of overgrown shrubs and tangled brush that was practically swallowing the driveway. Not exactly something you want to deal with every week.
We worked with Eric and Randi to clear the whole thing out - shrubs, root systems, weeds, and all. The retaining wall blocks came out too, which opened up the space and made it flat and workable. The goal was simple: get rid of the high-maintenance mess and give them a clean slate to seed with grass.
Here's the thing about old flower beds like this - they look manageable until they don't. Once shrubs get established and start spreading, it stops being a bed you maintain and starts being a project you dread. Pulling it all out and converting to grass is one of the smartest low-maintenance moves a homeowner can make.
The finished area is graded and ready for seed. No more overgrown shrubs creeping onto the driveway. No more weeding a bed that was never going to look great anyway. Just clean, open yard that's easy to mow and even easier to forget about.
This kind of work is a big part of what we do - not just mowing and trimming, but actually solving the yard problems that have been piling up. If you've got a space that's gotten away from you, we can help you figure out the best path forward.
