This one was a full week of work - and a good example of what it actually takes to do a yard right when there are real problems hiding under the surface. The homeowners had a muddy, hard-to-manage backyard that their dogs were tracking all through the house. Not a fun situation. The goal was to fix the underlying issues, clean up the layout, and give them something that actually works day-to-day.

We hit a few surprises once we started digging in. That's just part of the job. When something unexpected comes up, you work through it - you don't just cover it up and hope for the best. We addressed the problem areas properly before rebuilding the layout, which is what makes the finished result actually hold up over time.

The backyard got a full gravel installation with clean concrete edging to separate the rock from the grass areas. The curves are intentional - they keep the space feeling natural while still being easy to maintain. That side yard got the same treatment, with gravel borders flanking a grass runner that leads to the gate. Clean, structured, and way easier to keep up than bare dirt.

Out front, we worked the foundation beds too. Gravel was added around the entry and shrub areas, boulder ring around the tree base, and the edging was set to give everything a defined, finished look. The whole property feels pulled-together now - front to back.

A job like this covers a lot of ground - literally. Gravel installation, edging work, layout rebuilding, and problem-area cleanup all rolled into one. That's the kind of landscaping work we genuinely enjoy. It's not just about making a yard look better. It's about making it work better for the people - and pets - who use it every day.
